TI Automotive, a supplier of fluid systems technology, has moved to new, larger headquarters in a 140,000-square-foot facility in Auburn Hills.

“The company has grown significantly during the past six years, and this is much more than just a move to a new location,” says Bill Kozyra, chairman, CEO, and president of TI Automotive.

Kozyra says the building, located at 2020 Taylor Rd. in the Fieldstone Industrial Complex (on the west side of I-75 near the Chrysler’s North American headquarters), has three floors of office space, along with dining facilities and a spacious lobby.

“The new building features several amenities for the employees and supports an environment of collaboration and teamwork,” Kozyra says. “It also enables us to better utilize our technical center just down the road.”

He says the headquarters has space for more than 300 of its executive, corporate, and divisional personnel, who used to work at various locations. Engineering, development, and testing personnel will continue to work out of the technical center located on Centre Road.

The company’s former corporate offices were located off Opdyke Road in Auburn Hills.

TI Automotive was founded in 1922 as the Bundy Tubing Co., which produced fuel lines for the Ford Model T. Today, the company has more than 25,000 employees working at 125 locations in nearly 30 countries.

TI Automotive was acquired by Bain Capital, a private investment firm, last year.
