Three New Single-family Home Communities Coming to Southeast Michigan

M/I Homes Detroit has announced the opening of three new communities in southeast Michigan — Creekside Park in Macomb County, Cobblestone Creek Woodlands in Wayne County, and Heritage Farms in Washtenaw County.

The new communities are expected to add nearly 400 new construction homes to southeast Michigan over the next four years.

With the addition of three developments, the home builder will have nine communities that surround the metro Detroit area and extend as far west as Chelsea and as east as Chesterfield.

The new community features include:

Creekside Park, Chesterfield Township
Creekside Park, located at Washington and Baker roads, offers a unique blend of coastal charm, and modern comforts. The community is in close proximity to I-94, parks, and the shoreline of Anchor Bay.

The available floor plans range from around 1,800 to more than 2,700 square feet and offer 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms with options such as fireplaces, bay windows, morning rooms, 2-3-car garages, and storage extensions. Typical lot sizes are 76 by 130 feet and the development will bring 75 new homes. Sales begin in March and prices start at $389,900.

Heritage Farms, Chelsea 

Heritage Farms, located off Dexter-Chelsea Road is one mile from downtown Chelsea and between Ann Arbor and Jackson. The community offers five modern floor plans and a wide range of color schemes, structural add-ons, and other design options.

The community will feature wide sidewalks, tree-lined streets, and is fewer than two miles away from Chelsea High School. Typical lot sizes are 60 by 120 feet and the development will bring 231 homes once complete. Sales begin in March and prices start at $379,900.

Cobblestone Creek Woodlands, Van Buren Township

Located just south of Belleville Lake, near downtown Belleville and approximately 20 minutes from Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Cobblestone Creek Woodlands will offer five floor plans up to 2,700 square feet and include 2-3 car garages. The community is surrounded by public lakes and will feature sidewalks and walking paths.

Typical lot sizes are 80 by 120 feet and the development will bring 67 new homes to Wayne County. M/I Homes is the first national home builder in the area. Sales are expected to begin in May and pricing will be announced closer to the opening date.
