Subsidiary of Novi’s DexKo Purchases Florida Trailer Parts Company

DexKo Global Inc. in Novi, a leader in engineered trailer running gear, chassis assemblies, and related components, has announced its wholly owned subsidiary Dexter Axle Co. has acquired The Expediter, a source for wholesale trailer parts, braking systems, towing solutions, suspensions, and trailer electrical parts.

Located in West Palm Beach, Fla., The Expediter has supplied dealers, wholesale, and OEM customers with trailer parts since 1979, with a focus in the utility, industrial, RV, and boat trailer replacement part markets.

“Adding The Expediter, their knowledgeable employees, and valued customers, will allow us to better serve our customers in the southeast,” says Fred Bentley, CEO of DexKo Global.

Dexter, based in Eklhart, Ind., employs more than 3,800 people in the U.S. and Canada and operates 18 manufacturing facilities and over 30 company-owned distribution locations. Founded in 1960, it serves the utility trailer, RV, marine, heavy-duty, agricultural, and specialty equipment manufacturer markets.

DexKo employs more than 7,000 people with 52 production facilities and 49 distribution centers.
