Stellantis’ Jeep Brand Unveils 2025 Compass SUV

The Jeep brand of Stellantis in Auburn Hills has unveiled its 2025 Jeep Compass, which offers “legendary” 4×4 performance, plus comfort and functionality with premium styling and craftsmanship inside and out.

The 2.0-liter, direct injection, turbocharged, inline four-cylinder engine delivers best-in-class standard horsepower and torque, according to the automaker, as well as “premium” on-road manners.

Jeep calls the 2025 Compass “the most technologically advanced Jeep Compass ever.” It offers an array of advanced safety and security features, including an available semi-autonomous driving system, parallel and perpendicular park assist, Traffic Sign Recognition systems, and a 360-degree surround view camera system.

Standard safety and security features on all trims include Drowsy Driver Detection, Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking, Active Lane Management, Blind-spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Path detection. Next-generation technologies offered on Compass include an available 10.25-inch frameless full-color thin-film transistor (TFT) digital cluster, one of the largest in the segment, 10.1-inch digital infotainment touchscreen, Uconnect 5 with standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an available wireless charging pad.

New for 2025 is a limited-edition exterior color, Joose, which will be available later in the model year.

The 2025 Jeep Compass lineup includes Sport, Latitude (with an available Altitude package), Limited (with an available High Altitude package) and Trailhawk.

Trailhawk models offer standard Jeep Active Drive Low 4×4, class-leading 20:1 crawl ratio, one-inch factory lift, skid plates, aggressive off-road tires, Jeep signature red front and rear tow hooks, a 30-degree approach angle, 24-degree breakover angle, and 34-degree departure angle Hill-descent Control.

Trailhawk is capable of up to 19 inches of water fording and up to 2,000 pounds of towing capability (when properly equipped).

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator High Tide Edition is based on the Jeep Gladiator Sport S and combines “rugged” exterior enhancements and unique hood and rear badging, with enhanced off-road capability via the Jeep Command-Trac 4×4 part-time and two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator High Tide Edition is available to order now at Florida Jeep dealerships with a starting U.S. MSRP of $48,275 (includes Convenience Group and excludes $1,895 destination). Available exterior colors include black, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, Firecracker Red and Anvil.

In Related Stellantis News: The company’s Indiana Transmission Plant (ITP) recently marked more than 25 million man-hours worked without losing time due to an employee injury. That’s more than 2,225 days or just over nine years.

ITP joins two other North American facilities in breaking the 25-million mark. The Brampton Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada, and the Saltillo North Engine Plant in Mexico have reached more than 44 million and 32 million man-hours worked without a lost time injury, respectively.

The Indiana Transmission Plant assembles six- and nine-speed transmissions for Stellantis vehicles.
