StartupNation, a digital platform that offers resources for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups, and Venture Catalysts, a Detroit-based nonprofit that offers support for entrepreneurial events and programs, will host Dell Small Business Partner Outreach Experts at Startup Nation’s Platform in Birmingham.
The event is sponsored by Dell for Entrepreneurs, Huntington Technology, and DBusiness magazine.
“We are thrilled to partner with Dell Small Business to foster education and learning among Detroit’s startup ecosystem,” says Jeff Sloan, founder and CEO of StartupNation. “Our longstanding partnership with Dell is one we look forward to strengthening even more in 2020 in order to provide Michigan’s entrepreneurs with the hands-on workshops unlike those they’d find anywhere else.”
This event will feature technology demos and learning opportunities for business owners throughout metro Detroit.
In addition, information technology advisers will present an introduction to Dell’s Partner Outreach program and offer a live demo on the CES Innovation Award-nominated Dell Canvas 27, a 27-inch horizontal desktop touchpad that pairs with any Windows 10 laptop.
“We are incredibly fortunate to partner with Startup Nation to share Dell Small Business’ one-on-one Tech Consultations with their local Detroit audience” says Mobolaji Sokunbi, lead for the North America Small Business Strategic Partnership at Dell. “The Dell Small Business Partner Outreach program is a strategic component to Dell’s business model, and we’re able to achieve so much by meeting with individuals one-on‐one at this event put on by StartupNation and Venture Catalysts.”
Guests can register for a chance to win a new Dell XPS 13 laptop and a Dell Notebook Power Bank Plus. Also, the first 100 attendees will receive a free Dell “swag bag” valued at $75.
The Dec. 9 event runs from 9 a.m.-noon. To register for the breakfast and for more information visit here.
