Pontiac-based St. Joseph Mercy Oakland has opened its new Clarkston Imaging Center, which will offer services such as digital X-rays, 3-D mammograms, and ultrasounds.

The new center, located at 7210 N. Main St., suite 211, will also offer CT scans in the future.

“Our patients will benefit tremendously from having advanced imaging services available so close to home,” says Melissa Charnesky, a specialist at Michigan Ear Nose and Throat Associates, which is also located on Main Street in Clarkston. “As a physician that orders imaging on a daily basis, I can tell you that the Clarkston Imaging Center is a welcome addition to our community.”

The center is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; noon to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Same-day appointments are available.

Founded in 1927, St. Joseph Mercy Oakland is a 443-bed community teaching hospital and a member of the Saint Joseph Mercy Health System, which serves seven counties in southeast Michigan, including Livingston, Washtenaw, Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Jackson, and Lenawee.
