Southfield’s Park West Gallery Releases Thomas Kinkade Artwork

1869

Southfield’s Park West Gallery is now offering six graphic exclusive works on canvas based on the paintings of the late Thomas Kinkade.

The pieces, available for purchase at the Southfield gallery and through Park West Gallery’s cruise ship auctions, are digital prints on canvas that are hand-embellished by apprentices that were trained by Kindade at the Thomas Kinkade Studio in California. The paintings are among the top 25 best-selling images by Kinkade, which include Holiday Gathering, Quiet Evening, San Francisco, Lombard StreetHometown Morning, Forest Chapel, and New Day Dawning.

“Park West shares our vision of maintaining the collectability of Thomas Kinkade artwork and honoring the Kinkade legacy,” says James Lambert, vice president of marketing for the Thomas Kinkade Co.

Lambert says Kinkade, who passed away in 2012, was known for his paintings of landscapes, cabins, nature scenes, gardens, and lighthouses. He says Kinkade strived to make his paintings accessible to everyone, using light and pastels to add warmth.

The paintings come with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.

Park West Gallery, founded in 1969, is located at 29469 Northwestern Hwy. The 63,000-square-foot gallery has 23 exhibition galleries. Park West Gallery also has a gallery in Miami Lakes, Fla., servicing its cruise ship and land-based auctions.
