Travel technology companies JR Technologies in Southfield and Thomalex in Hallandale Beach, Fla. are merging to bolster their collective technological capabilities.

The goal is for the companies to expand their market presence and improve their ability to deliver solutions to the travel sector. Details of the transaction were not released.

JR Technologies, known for its Aerostream order-based airline and travel supplier retailing solutions, specializes in developing platforms tailored to meet the evolving needs of airline and travel retailing.

Thomalex builds multi-channel, multi-source interfaces using legacy and next generation technologies enabling both B2C and B2B travel agents and agencies worldwide to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape with confidence and deliver exceptional service to their customers.

Customers of the joint company can expect enhanced capabilities, deeper expertise, and a broader scope of offerings to address their distribution and retailing challenges and seize new opportunities in today’s rapidly evolving marketplace, according to the merging entities.
