St. Louis-based women’s lifestyle retailer Soft Surroundings today announced it will be opening 17 new stores, including one at The Village in Rochester Hills, by the end of the year.
Soft Surroundings provides stylish and affordable clothing, accessories, beauty, and home goods for women of all ages. The new stores will feature products available through the company’s website and catalog, as well as some in-store exclusives, such as complimentary skincare and beauty demonstrations.
“This year represents the single largest period of retail expansion to date; a milestone in our history and growth of our organization,” says Danny Boddy, Soft Surroundings’ senior vice president of retail. “We feel strongly that Soft Surroundings is a brand that all women can relate to and we are excited to give them an opportunity to experience what we are all about. Our passion for customer service and the integrity of our brand gives us the ability to share our story and hopefully make our customers’ lives a little more fulfilled and enjoyable.”
Since releasing its first catalog in 1999, Soft Surroundings has opened 43 retail locations nationwide, after opening 15 stores in 2016, and 10 stores in 2015. Additional markets will be announced later this year.
