Slalom, a Seattle-based business consulting firm, has opened a new office in downtown Detroit, which aims to employ 500 people within the next five years.
Located at 400 Renaissance Center, the new office for the company, which offers information management and analytics, technology enablement, experience design, organization effectiveness, customer engagement, and strategy and operations services, will focus on helping Detroit companies navigate the city’s growth.
“The types of technologies that companies have to think about are changing dramatically, and that’s a perfect sweet spot for Slalom,” says David Rouls, general manager of Slalom’s Detroit office. “We’re a company that’s coming in to create thoughtful, custom-made solutions for our client’s specific challenges and collaborate closely with them every step of the way.”
He says the Detroit office will be backed by the company’s delivery network, which consists of a collection of regional delivery centers across North America staffed by engineers.
Founded in 1993, Slalom Consulting is a division of Slalom, LLC. The company employs over 4,000 people across 25 offices in North America and London.
