Sealy & Co., a commercial real estate investment and operating company in Dallas, has announced the acquisition of AeroPlex One and Two, a 600,000-square-foot industrial complex made of two class A logistics buildings located in Romulus. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Q2 (second quarter) 2022 has shaped up to be very active for Sealy & Co.,” says Jason Gandy, managing director of Sealy. “We entered the Detroit market in Q2 2021 and are pleased to add these two buildings to our current holdings in the market. We will continue to seek out assets in our target markets that align with our proven investment strategy.”

AeroPlex One and Two offer 30-foot clear heights, large truck courts, cross-dock configuration, ample truck and automobile parking with exterior truck docks, and multiple points of ingress and egress.

The complex can accommodate a wide variety of tenant requirements as suite sizes range from 30,000 square feet to 195,000 square feet.

The two buildings are located adjacent to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and are 1.7 miles south of I-94 and minutes from I-75.

In addition, the structures are located in proximity to four class A rail lines and Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti Township, a significant airport for landed air freight flown by exclusively cargo aircraft.
