Troy-based Affinity Brand Partners has announced an agreement with Samsung Electronics America in New Jersey to provide sport and activity watch bands for the company’s Design Studio e-commerce site. Samsung is based in South Korea.

Affinity produces smartwatches and accessories for wearable technology through its Affinity Bands products. The line for Samsung will provide dual-pin, quick change, and sport bands for Samsung’s full line of smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch3.

Samsung is now an authorized dealer of Affinity Band products. This is the first collaboration between the two companies.

“The wearable technology segment is the hottest tech in the market today,” says David Schowalter, CEO of Affinity Brand Partners.

Formed in 2017, Affinity collaborates with a range of lifestyle brands, teams, and organizations. It has more than 200 active licensing agreements globally and offers 10,000-plus products. It plans to introduce new accessory products designed to be compatible with the Samsung wearable ecosystem.

The Affinity Brands has licensing or distribution agreements to sell NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, several European Soccer teams, the U.S. Navy, Army, and Air Force wearable tech, as well as with brands such as Realtree, Hi-tech, and Hard Rock.

The Samsung watches with Affinity bands are available on Samsung’s Design Studio site.
