Motor City AutoSpa in Royal Oak, a vehicle detailing and paint-protection company, is slated to open a second location on Feb. 21. The new climate-controlled facility will also be in Royal Oak at 4300 Delemere Court (near Coolidge Highway and Normandy Road). The new facility offers 9,400 square feet of space.
“We’ve seen year-over-year growth for the past 10 years,” says Matt Lifter, founder of AutoSpa. “Whether it is a parent looking to deep clean the family hauler, an enthusiast in need of a hand polish and wax for the next car show, or a truck owner wanting to protect a recent investment, Motor City AutoSpa has been handling an average of 240 vehicles per month.”
The company offers a lease turn-in package to clean and touch up leased cars before returning them. It also offers interior and exterior protection packages, including Opti-Coat, a ceramic coating that provides permanent protection for factory paints and exterior surfaces, and EXPEL Ultimate Paint Protection Film, a clear polyurethane paint protection film applied to protect against damage caused by environmental elements such as road debris, rocks, and bugs.
“Given the conditions of the roads in Michigan, consumers really should consider an extra level of paint protection when purchasing a new vehicle,” says Lifter. “Extended protection sealers add a year of protection against normal wear and tear.”
Lifter said the company uses eco-friendly clear coats.
The original Motor City AutoSpa is located at 901 W. 11 Mile Road in Royal Oak.
