A local company has launched a mobile snack delivery app that lets users make selections based on their food allergies or diets.

Savorfull, which was launched in Detroit in 2011 and is part of the Detroit-based Rock Family of Cos., has partnered with more than 40 food vendors to vet and sell a range of free-from snacks that aren’t always available at grocery stores.

The company says the app is designed to help the 32 million Americans living with food allergies and millions more with other dietary lifestyles, offering snacking suggestions for foods free from the top eight allergens as well as other suggestions. It helps save time scouring shelves at the grocery store, and users can source the snacks directly from the app.

Users personalize snack searches by setting filters. All of the snacks on the app are free from artificial ingredients and are clean-eating based. Users can also find snacks that are keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, or gluten free.

“Healthful snacking should be easy for consumers,” says Stacy Goldberg, CEO of Savorfull. “I have traveled the country to find and create Savorfull’s curated collection of delicious, nutrient dense, and free-from snacks best suited for any dietary lifestyle. The need for a product like this has never been more clear.”

The company has been delivering snacks to businesses, schools, sports leagues, and more. Through the direct-to-consumer app, parents and households can use the organization’s services as well.

Savorfull offers free delivery on snack orders. The app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play. Customers can also customize their preferences and shop online at savorfull.com.
