Roadie, a logistics management and crowdsourced delivery platform that’s part of UPS, has expanded its network of cross-dock facilities with a new location along Michigan Avenue in Canton Township.
With the RoadieXD model, retailers can offer same-day delivery across a wide range of products with minimal cost and complexity to a maximum radius of 100 miles from Canton Township, and at other cross-dock facilities across the U.S.
The Canton Township facility serves a wide array of delivery needs and item sizes, and provides for same-day delivery.
The Roadie network of more than 310,000 crowdsourced drivers across the U.S. helps reduce complexity and transit time for orders of all sizes, Roadie states.
From enabling same-day delivery direct from distribution centers to offering savings on packaging and reducing costly weight-based shipping fees, Roadie helps businesses across categories make their last-mile logistics more efficient.
The Canton Township facility is part of a broader expansion strategy by Roadie. By the end of 2025, RoadieXD’s footprint plans to cover nearly 60 percent of the U.S.
