Rehmann in Troy, a fully integrated professional advisory firm, today announced an upcoming business combination with Walker, Fluke & Sheldon (WFS), a west Michigan-based CPA firm.

The business combination will be effective Aug.1. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1976, with offices in Hastings, Ionia, and Richland, WFS, which works with both nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies, has 22 associates and offers client services ranging from bookkeeping to estate planning.

“WFS is known regionally as a great community partner in West Michigan and shares Rehmann’s values of fostering meaningful relationships with clients,” says Stacie Kwaiser, CEO of Rehmann. “The collective WFS associate team will be a great addition to the firm and will help us continue to maximize client potential in that region.”

The business combination will bring additional value and resources to meet client needs, including technology and cyber-consulting, HR solutions, and CFO advisory services, among others.

Operating under the Rehmann name, WFS’s three locations will remain open, and all employees will continue to report to their respective offices.
