Regrid in Detroit and Florida-based Zoneomics are combining Regrid’s land parcel data with Zoneomics’ standardized zoning information and boundaries to create up-to-date and comprehensive land data products, which are slated for an early 2024 release.
Regrid, a provider of land parcel mapping and location intelligence, offers a complete land parcel coverage map of the United States. Zoneomics is a zoning data intelligence technology company.
The move is part of Regrid’s larger efforts to improve its building footprints, secondary addresses, and enhanced ownership datasets. By integrating with Zoneomics’ zoning data, that spans the United States, Canada, and Australia, Regrid will be able to update its products with the latest zoning content.
“Land parcels combine property boundaries with attributes like ownership, occupancy, use, and permission, and zoning is critical to understand use and permission,” says Jerry Paffendorf, CEO of Regrid. “After an extensive review of the zoning landscape, we learned that no one is doing zoning better than Zoneomics, and their team is awesome. Whether you want to change zoning or conform to it, step one is clearly seeing it as it is today. We’re excited to partner with Zoneomics to bring the best land parcels plus zoning perspective to our customers.”
