Alpine Power Systems, a Redford-based business-to-business global solution provider specializing in motive power, telecom, cable, and backup power solutions, is expanding its Motive Power Division into the Arkansas market.

With a facility in Little Rock, Alpine will offer products to the material-handling industry including new and used forklift batteries, chargers, watering systems, battery wash systems, and battery handling systems.

The company has experience with the latest motive power technologies including lithium, thin plate pure lead, valve-regulated lead acid, and fast and opportunity charging.

Alpine’s battery services include on-site battery and charger repairs, load testing, comprehensive maintenance programs, safety assessment services, and battery recycling.

“This expansion creates a nearly contiguous market for Alpine Power Systems, from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico,” says Sean Davis, vice president of sales for Alpine. “Enhancing the customer experience is our priority, and we are excited about the future in these areas.”

Alpine was founded in 1963.
