PrimoHoagies, a national sandwich shop based in New Jersey, has signed eight new franchise agreements in metro Detroit.
The move is part of a larger effort in which a total of 20 new franchise agreements have been signed across the Eastern and Midwestern U.S., including the brand’s first agreements signed in Massachusetts. The exact locations of the metro Detroit franchises and the timing of their opening have not yet been released.

The recent agreements underscore the growth of PrimoHoagies, which now boasts more than 100 locations open, with around 115 expected to be open by the end of 2023.
The company says its goal is to surpass 300 locations in the next few years. To help make that happen, PrimoHoagies has introduced “Prosper with Primo.” The franchise fee reduction program, active until Nov. 30, is part of the brand’s dedication to reinvesting in owners who share in the brand’s success.
The program offers to slash the initial franchise fee by 50 percent, along with opportunities for more significant discounts, including royalty abatement for deals of three units or larger.
