Waterford-based Premier Creative Group — which provides scenic design, lighting, audio, and video services for special events — has acquired Dearborn-based video production company RW Productions, the companies announced Tuesday.
RW Productions will eventually change its name, although its staff will remain in their Wayne County office, says Mark Miller, CEO of RW Productions.
“We’ve been working closely with Premier for the last three years on a number of projects,” Miller says. “We would hire Premier to help us with some of our meeting and event work, and they would hire us for some of their video needs. It seemed like a perfect match.”
Miller says it will be business as usual for customers, with the added benefit of expanded show and production services. “Now, when I talk to my clients, I can say, ‘We can offer these other services that we had to outsource in the past.’”
Keith Oliver, president of Premier Creative Group, echoes Miller’s sentiments. “We are looking forward to having RW Productions as part of our team. Their video expertise (single and multi-camera production, motion graphics, editing, and final distribution) is a perfect fit and will enhance our portfolio of offerings to our customers.”
