Phoenix-based pet mega-retailer PetSmart is continuing its expansion in Michigan with the opening of a new store on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township Saturday.
The company is hosting a grand opening celebration from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. when customers and their pets are invited to visit the new store and receive a free, pre-packaged goodie bag filled with items such as a $10 Petsmart gift card, pet bandana, toys, and coupons, while supplies last.
The new store spans more than 20,000 square feet and offers a full lineup of products for cats, dogs, fish, birds, reptiles, and small pets. The store also sells pet food, toys and treats, apparel, habitats, and dietary supplements.
In addition, like other PetSmart locations, the new outlet offers services such as pet training and adoptions, a self-service dog wash station, and a full-service grooming salon where dogs and cats can receive hands-on care from academy-trained and safety-certified stylists.
PetSmart offers contactless curbside pickup at this new location, so people can buy select items online and pick them up without leaving their vehicle. Customers also can shop on petsmart.com with free same-day delivery via DoorDash to order pet products to be delivered to their doorstep.
The store is located at 2197 S. Telegraph Rd., just north of Square Lake Road.
