PBS series Antiques Roadshow will be filming in downtown Rochester on June 14, 2018 as part of a production tour taking place at historic cities across the country. The show will also be stopping in Sarasota, Tulsa, Louisville, and San Diego, filming three episodes in each city to air in 2019.

“Holding events at these locations allows our cameras to film appraisals in and around places that are treasures in their own right, adding a new depth to our show,” says Marsha Bemko, executive producer of Antiques Roadshow. “I can’t wait to see what treasures we uncover in Rochester. And stay tuned, we’ll be revealing the historic location we’ve selected very soon.”

There is no cost for admission to Antiques Roadshow events, but tickets are required and must be obtained in advance. Fans can apply for a chance to receive one pair of tickets per household. The2018 tour application process is currently live, and the deadline for ticketing applications is Feb. 27, 2018.

During each appraisal event, approximately 3,000 guests will receive complimentary valuations of their antiques and collectibles from experts representing the country’s leading auction houses and independent dealers. Each guest is invited to bring two items.

Antiques Roadshow airs locally on Mondays at 8 p.m. on Detroit Public Television. More information about the event can be found here.
