OEC Group, a global logistics company with a bureau in Livonia, has launched OEC TV, which initially features three channels: Entertainment, Business, and Learning.
OEC TV will provide logistics professionals and enthusiasts a central place to access relevant industry news and entertainment. All viewers will be able to access OEC TV on all their devices by visiting oectv.com.
“As a company we value the importance of educating shippers so that they can have a deeper appreciation and understanding of both the past and present issues that affect the industry,” says Anthony Fullbrook, president of OEC Group’s North American region.
“OEC TV will not only provide a central place for anyone interested in understanding all the issues and how they affect their businesses, but also a more fun and interesting way to learn about the logistics industry. By offering more creative programming we hope people will understand just how unique and creative our industry can be.”
New content will be added to each channel on the first day of each month. The programs airing this month include:
- I Am Kai (Entertainment Channel): In the first episode, viewers will be introduced to Kai, a logistics superhero who will fight crime and try to help the industry solve the problems that plague it.
- The Logistics Corner (Business Channel): The show is a roundtable debate between four panelists disputing supply chain topics of the day. Topics discussed in the first episode include the recent ILWU Canada labor action, conflict between Teamsters and UPS, ocean carrier dynamics, new infrastructure funding, and ocean rate volatility.
- Profile of CODA Logistics and Distribution (Learning Channel): Viewers will get an in-depth look at CODA Logistics and Distribution and learn how they were able to survive the pandemic to become a rising star in the logistics industry.
