At least 20 business aircraft will be on display and available for tours while 19 aviation vendors will be on-site at the Business Aviation Expo on Sept. 22 at Oakland County International Airport in Waterford Township.

“The expo is an opportunity for c-suite executives to learn about how business aviation can boost their bottom lines,” says Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. “Private air transportation enables both businesses and individuals to reach 5,000 U.S. airports, 10 times as many as commercial airlines.”

Airport businesses on hand for the event include Corporate Eagle, Pentastar Aviation, and Royal Air Charter, while participating OEMs include Dassault Falcon Jet, Bombardier, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream, and Textron.

The Business Aviation Expo will feature four breakout sessions, including: Getting Started in Business Aviation, The Ins and Outs of Fractional Ownership, Aircraft Transactions and other Hot Topics, and When Cash is King.

Event officials say the sessions are designed to educate both industry veterans and those who are new to business aviation.

Individual tickets for the event, which are now on sale, are $75. Attendees can tour the business aircraft on display, engage with aviation experts, connect with aircraft manufacturers, and access breakout sessions.
