Bollinger Motors Inc. in Oak Park has added Oregon-based TEC Equipment Inc. to its dealer and service base, expanding its reach in the western United States.

The deal gives Bollinger five sales and service locations in California, Oregon, and Washington. It adds 15 new service centers in Arizona, California, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, and Washington.

“The addition of TEC Equipment expands Bollinger Motors national dealer network westward and gives us a solid foundation in several important markets,” says Jim Connelly, chief revenue officer at Bollinger Motors. “TEC is an industry leader in sales and service and provides a critical link to our commitment to electrification and customer support.”

Bollinger, founded in 2018, produces Class 4 battery-electric commercial trucks. It’s also developing Class 5 and Class 6 electric trucks.

The Class 4 trucks are powered by 158 kWh battery packs and can be customized to meet the needs of buyers. Truck deliveries begin next month.

TEC Equipment is a family-owned, full-service truck and trailer dealership founded in 1976. It has more than 30 locations in eight states.

“We are proud to join the Bollinger Motors network and bring this game-changing electric truck to our customers across the West Coast,” says Chris Thompson, vice president of truck sales at TEC Equipment. “We have always prided ourselves in innovation and Bollinger Motors has developed a world-class truck.”
