O2 Investment Partners, a private equity firm in Bloomfield Hills, today announced through FCAH Aerospace it has made an investment in, and partnered with, Cobalt Aero Services to support its strategic growth plan. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Cobalt Aero Services, based in Hot Springs, Ariz., is a licensed FAA and EASA repair station providing routine and as-needed component maintenance, repair, and overhaul services such as on-site inspection assistance, on-site repair support, and full shop inspection and support.
Isac Roths, CEO of FCAH Aerospace, says the addition of Cobalt Aero Services is expected to offer “significant revenue synergies, with an opportunity to bring superior value and innovative solutions to a broad set of cargo freighter, commercial aviation, and defense customers.”
Cobalt Aero Services specializes in nacelle component and thrust reverser part repair, replacement, overhaul, and exchange. The company maintains in-house engineering and machining capabilities with the ability to perform repairs across a variety of aircraft platforms.
