Sciens Building Solutions, a holding company in San Francisco focused on the fire detection and security services sector, has acquired Novi’s Elite Fire Safety. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Elite Fire Safety was founded in 2007 in Lake Orion, where it established a foundation in the metro Detroit area that has grown to service clients throughout Michigan and northern Ohio. Its team of nearly 80 professionals provide fire and life safety services in the health care and high-rise/commercial market spaces.

Elite offers fire system inspections and service along with retail sales to help customers find the right fire safety technology for any space. Its services include 24-hour emergency service for fire alarms, annual maintenance and tags for fire extinguishers, and more.
Sciens says this acquisition displays its commitment to becoming the largest independent fire-life safety and security integrator in the U.S. by adding the state of Michigan to its already broad U.S. presence.
