The Baronette Renaissance Hotel in Novi announced today the completion of a $1.5 million renovation that included complete upgrades of the facility’s business meeting spaces and technology offerings.

“This is a renovation and construction we’ve been looking forward to for a while,” says Sora Chan, the hotel’s director of sales. “With these upgrades, we get the opportunity to offer our clients and customers the very best experience possible, whether they be overnight guests, business guests, or party guests. All can enjoy the enhancements we’ve made here.”

The meeting spaces within the 155-room hotel now feature upgraded technology including 80-inch or 70-inch LED displays, built-in conference line with microphones and speakers installed into the walls, HDMI and VGA/Audio connections, and hardwired and wireless Internet connections.

In addition, the renovation involved the re-design of the Baronette’s Grand Oak Ballroom, which seats 300, as well as its outdoor patio, which can now accommodate 250 people. In recent years, the hotel also opened the Toasted Oak Grill & Market, a bistro-style restaurant (located adjacent to an intimate wine and carryout store) that offers a full menu that includes artisan cheeses, grilled pizzas, Shepherd’s Pie, steak frites, Miller’s Amish chicken, and Lake Huron walleye.

Earlier this year, the Baronette joined Marriott’s Workspace on Demand program, which allows freelancers and business professionals to book offsite meeting space through LiquidSpace.com. The service is also available at Detroit Marriott Troy; Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center; Courtyard Detroit Downtown; Courtyard Detroit Warren; Courtyard Detroit Novi; and The Dearborn Inn.
