New York-based Accounting Firm Marcum Acquires Croskey Lanni in Rochester

Accounting and advisory firm Marcum, based in New York City, acquired Rochester-based Croskey Lanni, which also has an office in Boca Raton, Fla.

Details of the transaction, which went into effect May 1, were not released. T95advisors served as merger advisors for Croskey Lanni.

Marcum now has a presence in Michigan and the deal should enhance the firm’s capabilities in tax, assurance, technology, and financial advisory and accounting services throughout the Midwest and Florida.

Croskey Lanni brought six partners and more than 50 associates to Marcum. Croskey Lanni serves privately held businesses in construction/real estate, material handling, professional services, trusts/estates, and nonprofit organizations. Croskey’s Barclay Planning Group, which offers pension administration services, also is joining Marcum.
