Cadillac has unveiled a Carbon Black sport package for the 2017 model year editions of the Cadillac ATS and CTS model lines.
The Carbon Black sport package will be available for the ATS Luxury and Premium Luxury Sedan and Coupe; CTS Luxury and V-Sport Premium Luxury Sedan; ATS-V Sedan and Coupe; and the CTS-V Super Sedan.
The package offers a variety of exterior features for vehicles in the Cadillac ATS and CTS product lines, such as a black chrome grille and rear fascia applique, black finish side window moldings and body-colored door handles, and dark finish wheels.
“The package that we’re revealing this month is intended to, in a way, pay homage to the engineering that’s gone into these cars and to emphasis the sporty driving abilities of the cars,” says Matt Russell, launch and lifecycle marketing manager for ATS, CTS, and V-Series.
The interior of the vehicles will have low-gloss carbon fiber interior trim and Recaro front seats, a standard feature on Cadillac’s V-Sport and V-Sport Premium.
“The (Recaro seats) put supportiveness at the top of the list,” Russell says. “It’s a more snug, tighter fitting seat that is designed to hold the driver perfectly in place in front of the steering wheel and the pedals.”
Available exterior colors in the package include: Black Raven, Phantom Gray, Gray Metallic, Red Obsession, and more. The interior is available in Jet Black or Light Platinum.
Cadillac’s ATS and CTS product lines received additional refinements for 2017, including new trim levels. Production for the 2017 model year begins later this summer, and dealers can now accept orders.
