Holgistic, a new business in Royal Oak that bridges traditional medical care and alternative medicine, has opened. The business’ goal is to treat the root cause of conditions, not just symptoms.

“Holgistic is the logistics of holistic health care. We create a bridge between traditional medical care and alternative medicine, providing all services from one convenient location,” says Margaret Kammerer, CEO of Holgistic. “For some patients, we are the primary care physician. For others, we work with the patient’s primary care physician, providing complementary services, ranging from high-definition diagnostic testing, IV infusion therapy and medical massage therapy to nutrition counseling and handcrafting tinctures and salves at our compounding herbal pharmacy — the first of its kind in the Midwest. We are dedicated to helping our patients achieve optimum well-being.”

The Holgistic team includes traditional and alternative specialists. The facility is dedicated to developing successful and affordable disease prevention programs and solutions for chronic and other conditions.

It uses Eastern and Western knowledge and therapies, and the facility offers an herbal pharmacy with more than 200 formulas on hand to treat common ailments.

Medical professionals at the facility specialize in integrative medicine, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, eating behaviors, digestive health, cellular recovery, compounds medications, and thermal imaging and cold laser therapy, among others.

Holgistic services include functional medicine, integrative medicine, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, LED and cold laser treatment, ozone therapy, thermal imaging, and concierge programs.

The office is located at 720 E. Eleven Mile Road and is open from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. More information can be found at holgistic.com.
