Benton Harbor’s KitchenAid is offering customers a way to create their own unique stand mixers by choosing colors, selecting their preferred attachments and bowls, and adding custom engraving on the trim band.

The customization tool is available exclusively online at KitchenAid.com/custom and allows customers to choose from 30 colors, 14 bowl options, and more than 10 attachments.

“As the heartbeat of every home, the kitchen is the place where makers showcase their passion,” says Nikki Lockett, U.S. marketing leader for KitchenAid small appliances. “With the ability to personalize the trim band with messages or add a custom bowl, KitchenAid is giving makers another opportunity to showcase their creativity in the kitchen.”

Among the 30 colors available are blue velvet, pistachio, contour silver and the classic empire red.

Customers can choose from a variety of 14 chip-resistant ceramic bowls, traditional or quilted stainless steel. New 5-quart ceramic bowls released in 2019 include white mermaid lace, confetti sprinkle, great valley and others.

Available attachments enable customers to mix everything from fresh pasta to burgers, veggie noodles, ice cream and more.

Trim band engraving, up to 24 characters, allows customers to personalize a mixer for themselves or for a gift.

Once customers complete the customizing process, they can download a PDF to see the mixer they have designed. KitchenAid.com also offers the opportunity to add gift wrap and a personalized message during the checkout process.
