A 125-room Hyatt Place Hotel has opened in Lansing’s Eastwood Towne Center, an open-air shopping mall near downtown Lansing.

“Hyatt Place was designed for a lifestyle, not a demographic and, as a result, we are confident that everyone from business travelers to students will appreciate the open, intuitive design, casual atmosphere, and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food and beverage availability,” says William Oman, hotel general manager.

The Hyatt Place Hotel is next to the Eastwood Towne Center, near Michigan State University and the Michigan State Capitol building.

“Business travelers will appreciate the close proximity to major companies such as Consumers Energy, Emergent, IBM, and Jackson National Life, as well as easy access to Capital Region International Airport,” Oman says.

Hyatt Place hotels are primarily seen as hotels for business travelers. There are five other Hyatt Place hotels across the state. The Lansing hotel also includes complimentary breakfast and 2,000 square feet of meeting space. Rooms cost from about $120 to $200 a night.
