Nékter Juice Bar, which has nearly 220 locations across the U.S., will celebrate the grand opening of its first restaurant in Michigan at 1432 N. Rochester Road in Rochester Hills on Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

A second location is planned at 3840 S. Rochester Road in Rochester Hills, near M-59, according to Nékter Juice Bar’s website. No opening date was provided.

A family-owned venture, the Nékter Juice Bar brand was founded in 2010 in southern California. The menu includes handcrafted and freshly made juices, superfood smoothies and acai bowls, and a wide assortment of healthy snacks.

The new Nékter Juice Bar in Rochester Hills is locally owned and operated by Eric and Sheila Werner, longtime residents of the community. As healthy living enthusiasts, who remain active and engaged all year long, they were introduced to the Nékter Juice Bar brand while traveling in Arizona and California.

When Eric retired from a 25-year career in manufacturing, they sought out various juice bar franchise opportunities and decided on Nékter Juice Bar because of its commitment to offering a nutritious menu without processed, unnecessary, or unhealthy ingredients. The couple plans to open more Nékter Juice Bars in the next few years.

“We are ecstatic to be part of the Nékter Juice Bar family, bringing a burst of health and vitality to Michigan, one sip or one spoon at a time,” says Eric Werner. “Our Nékter Juice Bar isn’t just another juice bar franchise; it’s our commitment to our community’s wellness with the freshest, most delicious menu of handcrafted and freshly made juices, smoothies, and bowls.”

The grand opening event will offer a pink flamingo theme and special pricing of $5 on 16-ounce handcrafted superfood smoothies, and $7 on Nékter’s freshly made acai and pitaya bowls. Kids under the age of 10 can enjoy free, 12-ounce smoothies, free “Build Your Own” acai fruit bowls, and free Skoop, Nékter’s plant-based and dairy free frozen treat available in three flavors.

The Rochester Hills Nékter Juice Bar is open Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

It is located in the new City Life Plaza at the southeast corner of Tienken and North Rochester roads. City Life Plaza has a focus on health and wellness brands, including the new Nékter Juice Bar, Orange Theory Fitness, Alloy Fitness, and V/O Med Spa.
