The National Modeling and Simulation Coalition, a Virginia-based organization dedicated to promoting and leveraging modeling, simulation, and visualization technologies to improve the human condition, today announced its annual meeting will be held Sept. 25-26 at The Henry in Dearborn.

Rick Darter, a board director and co-chair for the meeting, says the event will include panel discussions and guest lectures regarding healthcare simulation, the evolution of the industry, curriculum and credentialing programs, and research challenges.

Darter says industry, academic, and research professionals are expected to attend the annual event to explore and discuss the modeling and simulation trade, including its impact on the future of manufacturing, health care, and the workforce.

“The event will be focused on revolutionizing analytics in manufacturing, health care, product design, and the need to train a workforce that supports that transformation,” Darter says. He says marketing, design, health care, and manufacturing professionals are encouraged to attend, as well as supply chain component providers, STEM students, and simulation, modeling, and visualization innovators.

The event is sponsored by Automation Alley, Rave Computer, the National Training and Simulation Association, CRTN Solutions, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.

The Henry Ford Hotel is at 300 Town Center Dr. in Dearborn’s Fairlane Plaza. More information about the event can be found here.
