The Joint Corp., an Arizona-based chain of chiropractic care centers with a clinic in Bloomfield Hills, is expanding in Michigan and is seeking franchisees in Detroit, Lansing, and Grand Rapids.

“Our mission is to provide affordable chiropractic care to Americans, not only for pain relief but also for ongoing wellness care,” says John Richards, CEO of The Joint Corp. “Our unique approach to healthcare gives consumers what they need to take back control of their health and invest in themselves.”

Richards says The Joint Corp. has a membership-based, non-insurance model, in which patients can choose from several offerings, such as a monthly plan that includes up to four visits. He says patients can receive treatment at any of The Joint’s clinics while traveling for work or vacation. Appointments are not required, and all centers have evening and weekend hours.

Richards says the Bloomfield Hills center, located at 3596 W. Maple Rd., offers care for back and neck pain, migraine headaches, shoulder and elbow pain, and chronic injuries, among other services.

The Joint Corp. has 280 clinics in 27 states, and has 250 more centers in development. Richards says new franchisees can be investors, and applicants are not required to be doctors of chiropractic or medical doctors.
