EarthTronics, Inc., a Muskegon-based light bulb supply company, has expanded its LED product line to include decorative filament LED design light bulb options that company officials say provide more than 80 percent energy savings compared to traditional incandescent bulbs.
The company’s new EarthBulb filament LED bulbs, which includes candle, general purpose, and globe lamp styles, were designed to be energy-efficient options and replace incandescent and general service bulbs for home, hospitality, restaurant, and commercial uses.
The candle lamps are available in 2- and 4-watt bulbs in various designs as well. There are also “A19” general purpose and “G25” globe style lamps.
In addition, EarthTronics offers a “vintage” style that looks like Edison’s first light bulb, which is available in 5-watt lamp to replace a 40-watt incandescent.
“The new LED technology now enables consumers to enjoy the classic style of the clear glass, vintage Edison bulbs in their homes, while experiencing more than an 80 percent energy savings from previous incandescent lamps,“ says Kevin Youngquist, executive vice president of EarthTronics.
The vintage style is available in a warm color temperature with an amber or smoke glass bulb. A lamp version is also available to replicate the standard soft white incandescent.
Company officials say all of the lamps provide a unique lighting experience, with more than 15,000 hours of life and high color rendering.
Founded in 2007, EarthTronics, which has locations in the United States and Canada, sells its products to commercial buildings, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and residential homes. EarthTronics energy efficient lighting options include LED light bulbs, linear LED, and LED fixtures.
