Michigan’s Adventure, a Muskegon-based amusement park, will expand its water attractions for 2017 with the addition of new slides, a splash pad, and other features.

The park’s Half Pint Paradise will be revamped with seven new children’s slides for the 2017 season, while a new splash pad will offer a variety of interactive water play features shaped to reflect a sailboat navigating through fish, a sea serpent, and other sea creatures. The area will feature dumping water structures and bubbling geysers.

“Our newest additions are very family oriented, and that is what our guests are looking for,” says Laure Bollenbach, director of sales and marketing at Michigan’s Adventure. “They will provide more (options) for our little thrill seekers.”

The Beach Party and Half Pint Paradise areas in the park will also be reconfigured so that guests can move easily between the two family play areas with improved visibility.

Michigan’s Adventure, owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Co., is the largest amusement park and water park in Michigan, offering over 60 rides and attractions. Cedar Fair owns and operates 10 other amusement parks, three outdoor water parks, one indoor water park, and five hotels, and operates the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in California under a management contract.
