The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, a 25-year-old organization that provides resources to manufacturers in the state, is moving to a new headquarters in Plymouth Township.

Officials with the center say the roughly 21,000-square-foot headquarters, located at 45501 Helm St., is designed to help Michigan manufactures learn, collaborate, and build organization success.

The complete renovation of the space, which was designed by O-X Studio in Ann Arbor, included the creation of meeting spaces, classrooms, a factory simulation, and more.

“The new facility is in line with the center’s spirit and innovative nature,” says Michael Coast, president of the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center. “We are so pleased to share it with our clients and partners, setting the stage for the next 25 years.”

The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, with locations in Marquette, Traverse City, Saginaw, and Grand Rapids, along with Plymouth, offers services for growth, operational excellence, leadership development, skill development, accelerating technology, food processing, and research.

Last year, the organization helped businesses generate $120 million in new sales, $49 million in cost savings, and 2,483 new and retained jobs.
