Mount Clemens’ Machine Hub has announced a new strategic partnership with the Virginia-based Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) to modernize Locator Services Inc. across all of its product lines. Locator offers products to the used machinery industry.
Machine Hub will offer dealers and end-users access to a machine dealer software system, which will include improved inventory management, customer relation management, analytics, marketing resources, and machine maintenance logs.
“Our strategic partnership with Machine Hub will bring an enormous new member benefit to the MDNA, immediately empowering members to improve their marketing, selling, and inventory tools,” says Mark Robinson, executive vice president of MDNA.
“We selected Machine Hub to partner with because they built their product offering with direct input from the customers and dealers that trade in and know this industry, and this input will continue to drive updates to existing products and the development of new ones. This will allow MDNA Members to deliver their unique message to end-users ahead of the competition.”
Locator products include a customer and inventory management system; LocatorOnline.com, which offers tens of thousands of machines listed for sale; and an associated printed directory of used machinery, equipment, and plant services that reaches almost 100,000 buyers, sellers, and dealers.
“Machine Hub was developed to fill a huge gap in the used machinery industry,” says Jimmy Gwizdala, founder and CEO of Machine Hub. “It was clear that there was a lack of sophisticated technologies available to help brokers and dealers become more efficient, organized, and profitable. Our SaaS platform will revolutionize the space because of our unique approach and advanced algorithms.”
MDNA is an international nonprofit trade association that was established in 1941 to promote the used machinery industry. It includes machinery dealers, auctioneers, and appraisers. The network has thousands of machines available in warehouses and plants around the world.
