“We’ve built an exceptional team that has worked relentlessly to grow Loves from eight to 16 stores in just 30 days,” says Matt Damiani, CEO of Loves. “We are continuing to recruit and grow our team as we plan to open 31 stores across Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. By continuing to expand our retail presence, we are giving more customers access to our modern shopping experience and helping them love where they live.”

Loves opened its first seven locations in Michigan at the beginning of September, moving into several former Art Van Locations. The company announced in May it had acquired the inventory and assets of 27 former Art Van Furniture, Levin Furniture, and Wolf Furniture stores in five states, including the 17 in Michigan. Loves was founded this year.

Loves stores carry brands including Tempurpedic, Beautyrest, Serta, Stearns and Foster, Lane, Bassett, Flexsteel, Jonathan Lewis, and Bernhardt, as well as brands exclusive to Loves. The company aims to offer clear and simple pricing designed to make it easy for customers to keep on budget.

Customers can shop independently or with the assistance of Loves home and sleep specialists who can offer in-person or online assistance. Customers can shop by appointment or walk-in.

“We are building a totally new customer experience rooted in personalized service,” Damiani says. “We are looking for great talent, at all levels, to join us on this journey. Our team members will have the opportunity to help customers build homes and spaces they love in a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive.”

The Ohio location is at 1301 E. Mall Drive, Holland, Ohio (in the Toledo area).

Loves is continuing to hire to support 31 planned locations in the areas of customer service, digital and information technology, finance, marketing, merchandising, corporate operations, store leadership, store operations, and store sales.
