Bill Brown Ford in Livonia has claimed the title of world’s No. 1 volume Ford Dealership in 2023 for a third year. The most recent sales record coincided with the passing of Ed Brown, the company’s leader for the last 50 years.

Bill Brown Ford sold 7,676 vehicles in 2023.

“My father created a unique dealership environment that consistently exceeds customer expectations,” says Tom Brown, dealer principal at Bill Brown Ford and grandson of the store’s namesake. “It’s something you don’t see enough of today. According to Brown, his father built Bill Brown Ford into the No. 1 Ford Dealership in the world, believing they needed to do more than sell cars. To succeed, he said he felt everyone at the dealership needed to be an integral part of and continually strive to uplift and empower the Livonia, Wayne Country, and metro Detroit communities of which they are they are a part.

Bill Brown Ford officials say the dealership’s success is based on its relationship with their customers.
