The 2019 Lincoln MKC features an updated new design and driver-focused technologies to attract more luxury SUV buyers as well as automatic emergency braking and pedestrian collision avoidance.
“Our redesigned Lincoln MKC offers style, substance, and technologies that create an effortless ownership experience,” says Kumar Galhotra, president of Lincoln Motor Co. “We recognize it takes a lot to attract a buyer from other luxury competitors, but the Lincoln MKC has that kind of appeal and we believe that the new MKC will capture even more luxury clients.”
The Lincoln MKC’s exterior offers a signature grille and detailed LED headlamp designed to minimize eye strain, while the rear design features chrome highlights to enhance the vehicle’s appearance.
The vehicle also offers standard SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Inside, the cabin has available heated and cooled seats, and standard Wi-Fi and USB ports throughout to increase connectivity.
For buyers seeking a more personalized experience, Lincoln Black Label is available for the new MKC, providing top-level materials, specially curated designer themes, and membership privileges. These include annual detailing, anytime carwashes, and access to a select list of restaurants where noted chefs will provide a signature dining experience.
The three Lincoln Black Label themes for MKC include:
- Modern Heritage: For those who appreciate clean lines and a modern aesthetic, this theme features seats in Vianca White Venetian leather with Argento wood accents.
- Indulgence: Surfaces trimmed in Venetian leather and Alcantara cloth in Truffle or Ganache, finished with accents from Ziricote wood inspired by yachts and musical instruments.
- Center Stage: Inspired by fashion and theatre, this theme features a diamond-L perforation pattern on the Alcantara cloth inserts and Foxfire red piping. Wood accents also enhance the architectural design and Jet-Black Venetian leather and Firefox Red adds more flair.
The 2019 MKC is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter engine that produces 285 horsepower and 305 pounds per foot of torque. The vehicle will be available in dealers next summer.
