The Mopar brand has unveiled a variety of modified FCA US LLC vehicles at the SEMA show this week in Las Vegas, including a Dodge Challenger with a V8 engine and all-wheel drive, and a Chrysler 300 with a lowered body and 22-inch wheels.

“The lineup of Mopar-modified vehicles premiering at SEMA represents real-world examples of our brand’s continued commitment to helping owners create customized dream rides that suit their specific lifestyles and passions,” says Pietro Gorlier, head of parts and service for Mopar at FCA – Global.

Gorlier says the Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept, with a V8 engine and all-wheel drive, is a year-round muscle car. The vehicle has orange highlights that line the grille and taillight surrounding a gray body. He says the modified Challenger has an aggressive profile with a front chin splitter and rear spoiler.

The interior has orange stitching embellishing the leather seats, center console, shifter boot, and side panels. The seats are also upgraded with taupe suede inserts.

Gorlier says the Chrysler 300 Super S has a front fascia with a matte black grille. The interior features light gray leather seats trimmed in blue stitching, with blue flourishes also featured on the side panels and instrument panel.

Molar also created a Ram 1500 Rebel X, a full-size pickup that has a dark copper exterior and matte black graphic trim. The truck has 35-inch tires, which wrap around 17-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels.

Chevrolet also unveiled customized concepts at the SEMA show, including four Camaro concepts and a concept Silverado that’s inspired by Kid Rock.

“Since it was introduced in 1967, the Camaro has been one of the industry’s most personal and personalized cars,” says Roger McCormack, director of accessories and performance parts marketing for the Camaro. “Many customers use the Camaro as a canvas to express their personalities and these concepts serve as inspiration for the many options available from Chevrolet.”

McCormack says the Camaro Chevrolet Performance concept is white with red accents, has 20-inch aluminum wheels, and a lowered suspension. The Camaro Hyper concept has a 3.6L V6 engine, white rally stripes, and heritage-style fender badges. He says the Camaro Black concept is a blacked-out version of the Camaro, with darkened trim, tinted windows, and black wheels. The Krypton concept has electroluminescent green paint.

Michigan native Kid Rock collaborated with Chevrolet to create a customized 2016 Silverado 3500HD truck. Kid Rock visited the Silverado HD assembly plant in Flint to meet with the employees who built the truck.

“The Flint plant – and everyone on the line – is the backbone of America,” Kid Rock says. “I wanted the design for the truck to be bold, but with features and elements that wouldn’t be out of reach for working-class guys.”

His Silverado concept features a custom chrome grille, chrome exhaust stacks, and patriotic graphics across the body sides.

The top trending vehicle models in four categories were announced at the SEMA show. The 2015 SEMA Award for the hottest car was awarded to Ford Mustang, the Ford Focus took the hottest sport compact honors, the Ford F-Series was named hottest truck, and the Jeep Wrangler received the hottest 4×4-SUV award.
