Farmington Hills’ Kaufman Institute has launched its educational and professional development learning hub designed for insurance industry professionals, companies, brokers, and agents.

The institute is a H.W. Kaufman Group company, part of a global network of insurance companies.

“H.W. Kaufman Group and its subsidiaries are known for their global specialty insurance expertise,” says Alan Jay Kaufman, chairman, president, and CEO of H.W. Kaufman Group. “After the success of our internal development and leadership programs, offered to our more than 2,000 associates, we are now able to share Kaufman Institute with all insurance professionals.”

Renée S. Lerche, president of Kaufman Institute and senior corporate vice president of H.W. Kaufman Group, built the hub and the membership business model. She has more than 30 years of experience in adult learning, development, and human resources.

“Kaufman Institute’s unique programs provide the opportunity for insurance professionals to advance their careers,” says Lerche. “It is a one-stop-shop that helps expand and personize their learning by offering insurance education, CE credits, business skills, leadership courses, and more.”

In 2018, the institute was recognized globally as a winner of the BEST Award by the Association for Talent Development for its dedication to advancing Kaufman associates as well as its approach to learning to impact profitability and growth. The association is the world’s largest for education, training, and development professionals.

Annual membership to the institute provides access to thousands of courses and resources. It costs $149 per year for individuals.
