Two new Jeep vehicles, a black edition Grand Cherokee SRT and a Jeep Wrangler designed for winter capabilities, will debut next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

"The Grand Cherokee SRT Night and Wrangler Backcountry both offer a distinctive appearance, while delivering an array of prominent performance and capability features," says Michael Manley, head of the Jeep Brand for FCA Global.

Manley says the new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night has a glossy black roof, rear spoiler, front grille bezels, and side windows. The vehicle's 20-inch wheels are finished in a satin black, while the interior has black leather and silver accent stitching.

The Grand Cherokee, available in red, silver, and granite, features a standard 6.4-liter V-8 engine that delivers 475 horsepower and 470 pounds per feet of torque.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Night will be available in the first quarter of 2016.

Manley says the 2016 Jeep Wrangler Backcountry is based on the Wrangler Sahara model. The vehicle features an off-road front and rear powder coated bumper, 17-inch wheels, and a black fuel fill door. A black hard top comes standard.

He says the interior has a vinyl wrapped console lid and door armrests with gray accent stitching, black leather seats, and all-weather slush mats.

The Wrangler Backcountry is available in blue, black, white, granite, and purple.

The 2016 Jeep Wrangler Backcountry arrives in showrooms later this month.
