Jeep 4×4 owners will have an added perk available starting in October – the brand’s first-ever Jeep Adventure Academy, which will provide hands-on off-roading driving instruction.

Slated to take place in three locations across the country, including a Michigan location, the classes will be led by off-roading experts from Jeep Jamboree USA. Participants will learn off-roading basics and Jeep capabilities.

“Off-roading is a rite of passage for Jeep 4×4 owners, and the new Jeep Adventure Academy will provide key knowledge every off-roader can use for hitting the trails,” says Jim Morrison, head of Jeep brand, FCA – North America. “The new Jeep Adventure Academy underscores the Jeep brand’s commitment to delivering Jeep 4×4 vehicles that provide owners with a sense of capability, safety, and security to handle any condition or adventure with confidence.”

The classes will focus on 4×4 system basics, driving techniques, trail etiquette, vehicle preparation and equipment, how to properly read terrain and challenging obstacles, safety tips, and more.

The academy will take place at Holly Oaks Off-road Vehicle Park in Holly from Oct. 2-4; Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch in Seymour, Mo., from Oct. 9-11; and Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area in Hollister, Calif., from Oct. 16-18.

Registration is available here. A one-day session starts at $99 and requires Jeep 4×4 vehicle ownership. Jeep Jamboree USA has been conducting off-road adventures since 1953.
