N.S. International Ltd., a Japanese Tier 1 supplier, announced today the consolidation of its engineering and testing facilities into a single location near I-75 and Big Beaver in Troy. The company expects to invest up to $6 million in the renovation of the building that will serve as its North American headquarters.
“These are exactly the kinds of announcements I enjoy making to my Oakland County residents,” says L. Brooks Patterson, executive of the county. “The movement of N.S, International creates the high-paying jobs of the knowledge economy that is the future of Oakland County.”
The Japanese-owned company, which makes dashboards and other visual displays for the automotive and motorcycle industries, has about 100 employees. Oakland County officials say the move will bring another 150 engineering and software development and technical jobs to Troy within the next three years.
