Christenbury Creek, a new luxury home development underway in Macomb Township, will be the site of the 2016 Homearama in the fall. The event — exact dates to be announced soon — features 10 homes that will be on display over three weekends.
The homes, located on Card Road just south of 23 Mile Road, will be fully decorated and landscaped. The homes range in price from $350,000 to $500,000, and offer numerous amenities, advanced technologies, and energy saving features.
The community is being developed by Bloomfield Hills-based Arteva Homes. HBA professional builder members including, Arteva Homes, Clearview Homes, Lassale Homes, Sunset Homes, and Vitale Cos., are building the homes.
“Since January 2012, Macomb Township has had 43 percent more single family homes built than the next closest municipality (Lyon Township) in the nine county southeastern Michigan region,” says Michael Stoskopf, CEO of the Home Builders Association of Southeastern Michigan in West Bloomfield Township.
“The clear demand for homes in Macomb Township was an important consideration when we selected Christenbury Creek as the location for Homearama 2016. Featuring a wide array of upscale — yet affordable — homes, Homearama 2016 promises to have broad based appeal to home buyers and home owners alike.”
Stoskopf says more than 50,000 people are expected to visit Homearama. More information on exact dates and tickets will be available in May.
The last Homearama was held in Oakland Township at the Pinnacle neighborhood in 2014.
