Dzinly, a virtual home improvement platform based in Royal Oak, has launched and allows users to visualize changes to home exteriors before spending time and money on renovation.
The platform allows users to experiment with color palettes, lighting, building materials, and upgrades such as porticos, porches, and pergolas.
Traditionally, homeowners meet with designers or builders to share their renovation goals, determine color combinations, and narrow down the best building materials. From there, an architectural rendering provides an idea of the finished product, but the process can take weeks and cost thousands of dollars.
“We take the guesswork out of picking paint colors and help homeowners understand the nuances of their choice of exterior material,” says Matt Mosher, co-founder of Dzinly. “With Dzinly, you can visualize brand name colors, materials, accents, and architectural changes before they are implemented and move forward with confidence whether improving curb appeal for your own enjoyment, fast-tracking zoning or HOA approval, or imagining a home’s potential before selling or buying.”
Users upload a photo or plans of their house. From there, design experts will suggest recommendations for the home’s exterior, and a design coordinator will narrow down and present the best three options.
Within two business days of selecting a choice, users receive life-like virtual renderings. Users can also toggle between materials, architectural elements, and colors. Dzinly’s renderings include brand name products, offering further clarity on what improvements will look like, as well as cost.
Remodeling professionals and other industry specialists can also use the platform to help clients visualize their remodel and provide renderings.
Dzinly offers a classic design package for a one-time fee of $99, a premium package for a one-time fee of $199, and a professional membership for $165 per month.
